Our commitments
"Making people dream big" is our raison d'être.
To be in tune with your dreams and, with our vans, to respond to and contribute to your life project: this is how we see our mission and the reason for our daily commitment in our workshops.
Our corporate social responsibility (CSR) is based on 4 principles:
Mostly made locally and in France
With 80% of our partners in France and 100% in the European zone, we are proud of our local roots. We are working with 60 companies in Brittany to develop and supply equipment for HorizonVan. Our suppliers are chosen for their proximity and the quality of their parts, and we are recognised by the UIMM (Union des Industries et Métiers de la Métallurgie) as a manufacturer committed to the development of our region.
The environment at the heart of our concerns
Based in a region where the sea and nature take precedence, we take environmental impact into account in our choices of innovation in order to reduce the impact of our production. Our eco-design should enable us to significantly reduce the volume of waste associated with the construction of each van, and we challenge ourselves on this subject.
Water is a crucial resource for travellers in converted vans, so the design of HorizonVan has taken this into account and is contributing to journeys with optimum range and less waste.
Committed alongside true adventurers
Glénan is keen to support the projects of sportsmen and women who share the same values: determination, perseverance, precision and innovation. By contributing its technology to the design of the galley on Pen Duick VI with Marie Tabarly, Glénan is helping to ensure the success of these challenges. The same is true of the support provided to two sailors: Romain Attanasio and Thaïs Le Cam.
A committed and supportive team
We want the men and women in our company to fulfil their potential. They are involved in the development of our products and the adaptation of our manufacturing processes. Together, we develop solutions to improve workstations and reduce drudgery without compromising our quality standards.
Because we take the balance between private and professional life for granted, our workshop has had a 4.5-day week for over 10 years. We also offer flexible working hours and teleworking for other departments.
We are committed to sharing value, and since 2015 our employees have benefited from an employee savings plan funded by the company.
